I’m a computer programmer by trade — it’s a very sedentary occupation. It wasn’t too long into my career before I noticed my paunch begin to grow. I was losing the fitness I had in my youth and I was feeling remarkably less healthy.

It has taken a while (too long!) but I have finally decided to take action. The site is a log of my progress towards reclaiming (at least some of) the fitness I once took for granted. My plan is to study how to eat well, exercise efficiently and muster enough motivation to put it all into practice.

I don’t have any kind of formal qualifications in a health, fitness or medical discipline, so please check with someone qualified if you need serious advice.

Hopefully this site will help other coders like myself get back into shape, so that we can join together as a Herrenvolk and take over the world 😉
